There was a lift which was good as my room was on the 2nd floor. The windows faced the front of the building and had a lovely canal view. All the Staff are so friendly and very helpful, will do so much when asked. The Mozart Hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk for the 2, 12 and 17 number trams which have the 'Tap On - Tap Off' card facility and go in a loop to and from Central Station and Dam Square and everywhere in-between. Breakfast is not supplied but in the Foyer there are vending machines with drinks and snacks, free, tea and coffee making facilities and just up the road are plenty of places to eat, lots of Cafes local shops, Pharmacy and restaurants just a 5 minute walk from the Hotel.

Staff were exceptional - for a 2* hotel, the service was 5*! Very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We unknowingly booked a basement room and were able to upgrade it for a small supplement. While I wouldn't recommend booking basement rooms (unless on a very tight budget but the savings are negligible overall), the mid-range is an excellent value for money, considering prices in Amsterdam and the location of the hotel. The hotel is situated by the canal, a short walk from Rijksmuseum and surrounded by cafes, bars and nice spots to eat. Free coffee and tea in the lounge area were a nice surprise too. Very happy with my stay and would definitely come back.

It is a fantastic location for exploring some of the most photogenic parts of wonderful Amsterdam. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although there was no kettle in the room, there is a very convenient area in reception with free tea and coffee for guests. Our room overlooked the canal, which was quite lovely. No breakfast was available, but there are nearby bakeries and mini supermarkets, which have very good value meal deals. Eating in Amsterdam can be expensive, so these are super useful to locate.

Staff super cordial, they gave us also an upgrade due a mine mistake. Location and view both amazing. Also, super clear about infos and extra infos. I advice this hotel. They offered also the possibility to take hot coffee/tea machine and some fruits even if we didn't have the package with breakfast. Super Easy to reach it from airport and from every part of the city using trams and busses. That location is one of my fav to see, especially during night

Mattia

I loved the location, very central to everything and close to public transportation! The staff were all very kind and helpful. It was nice to have the option to grab a coffee or piece of fruit in the morning. I thought the room itself was clean and just big enough for me as someone traveling alone. There was a small desk in the room and shelves to store your things.
